Once you have your magnet set up, you probably won't want to keep it in the document. You can do if you want to; it will be easy to go back to the magnet settings later if you want to tweak them for some reason.

But if you have the effect you require, you can make it into a morph and delete the magnet. Click on the object, then select Object - Spawn Morph Target. Poser will ask you for a name for the morph, and you'll get a dial. Now select the magnet base and delete it; the magnet and magnet zone will both go with it (the base is the "master" part of the combination). Go back to the object, and your dial will still be there, ready for use.

You can save the dial by saving a new version of whatever it was you morphed into the appropriate library. For instance, if you altered a figure by applying a magnet to their head, go to the Figures library; select the figure; and click on the (+) symbol. Best to give it a new name so that you don't overwrite your original.

You can add further magnets as required if one was not enough. Note that any morphs you have applied to the object already when you spawn a morph target will be added in to the resulting dial; this can be an advantage, or a problem depending on what you're trying to do, so be aware of it.
